I have been a busy girl again this week. Back before Christmas I promised Sam and Nattie some bags which they wanted to be the same style as my Oriental Bag. Well I finally got round to it this week!

As always the first one took me forever and the second one only took a day. I am pretty happy with them on the whole. I used pollycotton for the lining and in hindsight I probably should have used full weight cotton but it has still worked well.

I really enjoyed making these once I got into it (so if you want one let me know and ill price it up!). However, the more sewing I do the more I remember that I am going to have to give Mum's sewing machine back at some point which inspired me to scour the market... and I have fallen in love with this one...

It's a lot of money, so i'm not investing right this minute but I certainly think this machine is the way forward! I also think it's about time I move on to trying to sell some of my creations - mainly to fund my rather expensive obsession and so I can pay for my new toy! There's only so many things I can make for myself or force onto my loved ones so making things for people who want them will be nice :) I might start with some purses and maybe the chrochet hook case as it seems to be a popular post. So watch this space as my lovely brother said he'd make me a shop for my blog :)
