'Girl Power'
Scott have just gone away for a few days cycling with his brother-in-law and nephew, leaving me on my own to finish my dissertation... Which I should be doing now but I am basically doing anything I can to avoid it.
I have been having a power ballad afternoon, listening and singing along to all the girl power songs i can find! I started off with Paloma Faith - Picking up the Pieces, progressed through Alicia Keys, Florence and the Machine, Christina Perri, Beyonce and Kelly Clarkson, to finally land upon the legend of Stevie Nicks!
Isn't she amazing! I don't know what it is about her but I love her, I want to name my first child after her (providing its a girl that is!). Call me sad, I don't care! Anyway, now I have got that off my chest I am going to do something constructive with my time!
