The socks are FINALLY finished.. sort of.
I am so relieved! That felt like the longest project ever!!
And when i say finished, I am not really happy with the end of one of them...
The one on the right is the one I did the first one differently and it is much better. I wish I had written down how I had done it now as it was so long ago! But its fine, I'll take it home to mummy dearest and shell tell me where I have gone wrong!
I have already started the next project! A little camera case for my new camera! It does have a nice leather one but it makes it pretty bulky so I just want an occasional case for when I go out and want to pop it into a small bag!
This is the beginning of it! The actual pattern it relatively plain apart from the lovely tie so I thought I would make it a bit more interesting by mixing the colours! I have got as far as knitting in the eyelets but from there i want to incorporate a pattern chart which is proving more difficult than I first anticipated.
I will get there eventually!!

These socks look so soft and lovely. Good work my dear. I feel so out of the blog loop at the moment - you've been so busy! I'm pleased you have lots more knitting time since finishing your dissertation - a much relaxing way of life! x
